Summary Administration in Florida

Summary Administration is a type of probate in Florida that is used on estates with probatable assets less than $75,000.00.  It is an expeditious way to getting assets out a decedent’s name and into the name of the people entitled to those assets.

Summary Administration can be used in estates where the decedent left a will as well as those when he/she didn’t.  The process is less expensive than Formal Administration and bonds are not usually required when there is a will.

The law office of Paul J. Burns is experienced in handling Summary Administration, as well as Formal Administration, and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your particular estate situation.  This office has handled estates in many counties throughout Florida, including Pinellas, Hillsborough, Hernando, Sarasota, Manatee, Lee, Pasco and Brevard.
